Accidents Happen

How often do you think of your death? Sometimes it’s the farthest thing from your mind, and others it almost hits you square in the face- quite literally. Yesterday as I watched a truck hurdle towards me, plowing through a red light directly at the passenger side door where I was sitting, I thought about it….well..and screamed. Luckily my sorority sister slammed on the gas just in time and we narrowly escaped, just literal inches away from being splattered across the road...and I thought to myself, if that was the end, would I be happy with how I lived the day?

Actually, yes.

I then realized that I was successfully living up to the mission of my blog- to live every day to the fullest and to the best of my ability. If I died yesterday, I would be content in knowing that I spent the entire day dancing, working my butt off, around the people I love, and all the while wearing the biggest smile on my face.
Let’s be honest, sometimes there are bad days- nothing will go your way and there won’t be enough coffee in the world to save you, which is why you need to save yourself.

That being said you must ask,
How will I make today the day that I lived?
