My Guilty Pleasure

The Facebook quizzes that populate everyone’s newsfeed are about as accurate as asking the Magic Eight Ball if you would pass your math test next week in Miss Hallet’s fifth grade class. They’re not...but it was right once, does that count?

I love the one’s that tell me about my friends and much to their annoyance, I incessantly send them the results of the quizzes I get. Like what Pharaoh would I be? Who the hell cares? Well apparently I do.

I’m also apparently going to quit writing and become a cook once I learn the difference between a clove and a head of garlic. I was making a stir fry the other day and the recipe called for two cloves, instead I minced two heads. I then tweeted from @TheDayILived account saying, “Honestly nobody warned me how long it would take to peel a clove of garlic..”

Well that was because it wasn’t just a clove, it was the whole head and I didn’t learn this until a few days later. For the record it was delicious.
One year? More like 20 something days!
Now you know my big secret. They might not be 100% all of the time but they’re fun and with results like these, one can only hope. Fingers crossed!
